Allergy Testing Diagnosis and Treatment
The method of Allergy testing used at our center is applied kinesiology.
This form of testing is very accurate and entails muscles testing using the energy flows of the acupuncture meridians.
Although we are using the meridians we do not need to use needles therefore the experience is pleasant and painless, making it very useful for testing babies, children and people of a nervous disposition.
Skin scratch and blood tests are unpleasant and in the case of skin scratch tests only 40% accurate. Blood tests are expensive and most hospitals will only test up to 5 substances because of expense involved.
Another great advantage of using this form of testing is that the patient immediately becomes aware of which foods or chemicals are causing difficulty and becomes involved in his own allergy detection and desensitization. No special diets are involved in the treatment so the patient will not have his life seriously disrupted.
The de-sensitising is done by use of homeopathic potencies of the offending substance. These are made by a Homeopathic pharmacist on the premises and have added to them natural enzymes that should be present in the body normally, which help the desensitizer to hold.
At our center we hope the patient will become involved in his own treatment all the way through. We find this help to obtain maximum results.
Allergy Testing
Applied Kinesiology, a muscle balancing technique which evolved from chiropractic is used to test for sensitivity to foods and other sub-stances. An over simplified explanation is that if a person is sensitive or allergic to a substance , then the presence of this substance either in the mouth or on the body will produce a weakness of certain muscles, the strengths of which are tested and comparisons made. In this way a large number of substances can be tested in a comparatively short time so that no discomfort is experienced. No injections or scratching is necessary.
The usual manifestations of allergy are well known and include skin problems, breathing, difficulties, general irritability, migraine and depression; but often the conventional methods of testing do not reveal a slight sensitivity which may still produce a feeling of being unwell.
The A-K technique reveals the slightest sensitivity which may then be corrected by homeopathic methods which entails the taking of homeopathic remedies in the way of drops, orally under instruction of its use. This is a safe, drug-free, and natural. It is deemed very balancing and stimulation to carry out the healing process with its own resource so no side effects are possible as in the case with many powerful chemical drugs in use today.
Alternatively, we use the Bioresonater machine which indicates the allergens (food or chemicals), which are causing problems for you. There are no needles involved and the test is completely pain free, non invasive and therefore, safe.
Allergy Desensitisation
Whilst it is appreciated that there are many forms of allergy testing available, sadly few people are able to offer treatment other then total avoidance of the suspected allergen. This is all very well if the offending substance happens to be pheasant, lobster or yams for example, but can the patient be absolutely certain of avoiding preservatives, additives, food coloring, etc? It's not a very practical solution if the offending allergen happen to be car exhaust fumes or house dust. Few patients are sufficiently knowledgeable about nutrition to be able to exclude, for example, wheat and all dairy product from a child’s diet and replace them with foods that will provide all vitamins, minerals and trace elements a growing child needs. As one doctor so rightly put it recently, ”I have never seen so many cases of scurvy and malnutrition as a result of dieting to relieve allergy problems!” Desensitization whenever possible would seem preferable.
